Quiz #32 Wrapup / Appeal

Results have been tabulated from last week's Album Cover Quiz. The winner was Dan Szpara whose reply scored a near-perfect 65 out of 66 points possible. He will soon receive a collection of fabulous* gifts and prizes arriving in the mail. Congrats to Dan, and thanks to everyone who submitted answers.

After this latest round, I suspect that photographs are too easily researched, rendering these quizzes sort of meaningless as pure knowledge exercises. So this may be the last one. But I think the quizzes are still interesting as a resource connecting music and photography. In the four album cover quizzes so far I've dug up about 60 album covers with appropriated photos.

I'm sure there are many more out there which I don't know about, but there is no good online resource cataloging them. Tracking examples down is a pain in the ass. So I'm appealing to the hive mind. If you know of other examples of album covers which use noncommissioned (preferably well known) photographs, please send me a note. Not for future quizzes, but because I want to create a large database of all of them, similar to what Karl Baden has done for book covers. Thanks.
